Recorded over two weekends in February, 2023, each track presents an evolving soundscape with a few repeating themes throughout. Most of this album was done as an improvised session, so each track is a unique performance that cannot be exactly replicated again. Tracks 2 and 3 explore just a single instrument for each, but track 1 was made with a several instruments. I find this album explores a sense of defocused thought and movement of patterns in time. I hope that these longform pieces will hold your attention, but I envision my work as oscillating from focussed attention - to background music - and back and forth several times as the mind wanders.
